Vintage Mexican Silver & Abalone Money Clip

Here's a really cool vintage money clip that's silver with a circle of abalone on the front, made in Mexico.
This clip is approx. 2 1/4" long x just under 1 1/4" wide. The abalone piece is just under 1 1/4" in diameter which is embedded in a silver ring that has an etched design about it's base.
The clip weighs 18.2 grams & is marked on the back "Hecho en Mexico" and "MAP" as well as what seems to be another mark that we cannot make out.
There is some patina as well as a bent part of the silver by the edge of the clip's opening. Please view all pictures. Thank you!
