.  It is the Morgan Silver Dollar, reverse side engraving of eagle cut-out coin -- made from a genuine, old, large, cartwheel-size dollar coin.  It is a handsome coin engraving, and is the most preferred design, and money clip size (and weight), out of all the men's money clips available. The Morgan dollar coin was last minted in 1921, so it is a very special creation for men that appreciate finer craftsmanship, and the attention to detail and finer cut coin has.

It is a almost full-cut design.  Some coin cuts are less-precision. It may cost a few dollars more than other less-detailed cuts, but the extra efforts sure makes it a handsome piece. Each, and every character has been cut around with almost all the letters: "* UNITED STATES OF AMERICA * ONE DOLLAR," and "IN GOD WE TRUST."  Also, the Eagle, her talons and the arrows she has gripping have been cut in and around. How was it done?
This was created by hand.  First, several holes are drilled strategically throughout the coin's surface, then, using a steady hand, sharp eye, and lots of patience areas have been "cut away" from the coin, leaving the design you see.  One of the pictures you see here, and the one above, has a black background in the photo so it looks better on computer screens; in actuality you can see right through the coin at the currency like the other photo shows. Coin has been cut by a craftsman in the USA.
Is it strong?
You bet.  The cut out design you see, but it secure in many parts.  A special "angled" cut, such as when you look down to the tip top of a pyramid, creating bridges between the coin's rim, the letters, and the engraving.  The design looks like it is floating, and that is the idea. About the Clip.
The clip style is a "inner spring plate" style, similar in design of those made by Anson Jeweler's years' ago.  It has an inner flexible plate the adjusts and flexes to press against and hold just a few up to over a dozen bills securely, and in your pocket.  The coin's circumference is secure within a bezel that holds the coin securely to the clip.  The U.S. dollar coin is about 38.1mm (1.5" in diameter), and of a perfect weight to hold the money down in your pocket. It is finished in hard nickel plate, and should bring you year's of use.
