1952 Other Makes 1952 NSU FOX. 4 speed. Ducati style classic motorcycle.

I am offering for sale from my more than 30 year collection of rare European motorcycles this hard to find Italian built German 1952 NSU FOX 125. The cycle parts are totally Italian but the NSU engine is German. Few of these bikes were built as they were more expensive than contemporary Italian offerings.
This is probably the only Italian NSU in the US. An interesting addition addition to any collection of German or Italian motorcycles.
The suspension is under the engine and the rear shocks are typical period Italian.
Unusual 4 speed de luxe export engine. Most (Fox 125s were 3 speed).  125cc. 2 stroke.
Good running and riding condition. The actual mileage is unknown as the inner speedo cable needs to be fixed. The speedo itself  and the drive both work on the bench.
Sold with a Bill of Sale (notarized if necessary). Comes with (for historical purposes) it's original Italian title showing it's first sale (new) on 5th Jan 1953 and the matching Cuneo license plate. Great patina!
